Anna, yoga teacher

Hello! My name is Anna, I am a yoga teacher and wellness therapist.
For several years, I have been accompanying people from all walks of life to regain balance, vitality, and serenity through breath, movement, and a benevolent presence to oneself.
I am trained in therapeutic yoga, trauma-informed somatic coaching, and pranayama (breathwork). I like to connect modern science with the wisdom of traditional yoga: understanding how our breath, postures, and emotions interact, and how all of this can help us feel better—gently, without seeking performance. My approach is simple: everyone comes as they are. I believe that yoga is first and foremost a space to listen to oneself, relax, and reconnect with one's inner self.
What I will offer you during our session together
During your stay in the Pyrenees, I invite you to join me for a gentle Hatha yoga session, to work on grounding, flexibility, and calm. This practice is accessible to everyone, blending physical and meditative aspects, where we take the time to breathe between movements, perfect for reconnecting the body and mind.
The session will end with a super cozy relaxation, a cocooning moment for you to recenter and integrate the benefits of the day. My wish is that you leave with the feeling of having taken some real time for yourself—a moment of calm, softness, and self-presence… something to take with you long after your stay.
Sophie, our Original Guide & Singing Teacher

Hello, My name is Sophie Sérougne, and for 25 years I have been teaching voice, French songs, and melodies from around the world.
Passionate about languages, hospitality, the beauties of nature, and heritage, I first worked as a guide-interpreter for several years in the Southwest of France, in Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne. I was already a singer on stage from the age of twenty and a soloist in a Gospel choir. Singing gradually became an obvious path, and I decided in 1998 to undergo professional training in Bordeaux. I sang on stage for ten years while developing my own voice pedagogy because I truly enjoy teaching. I created a mixed choir in Oloron, and led workshops, retreats, and trips, particularly in Spain. I specialize in an original and playful form of coaching, inspired by the Natural Voice Movement, created in the United Kingdom by Frankie Armstrong. Every person, singer or non-singer, is welcomed and invited to find or rediscover their voice, starting from the body as an instrument. Games, simple and deep warm-ups, and polyphonic songs are the basis of these group practices. I also completed training in Sound Yoga to better understand the relationships between voice, sound, and body. Today I coach all types of people, from beginners to more experienced singers, to play, sing, and rediscover the joy of singing on stage, with friends, or in the shower!
What I will offer you during your stay in the Pyrenees
I will take you on a discovery of the town of Oloron Sainte-Marie and its two-thousand-year old history from an original angle. We will walk together through its historic districts to discover its traditional buildings, its atmosphere, its gaves (that's the name of the rivers in the Pyrenees!), its traditions, and its economy. Our route will be punctuated by a few unexpected moments, surprise encounters for the eyes or the taste buds! And, of course, a few French melodies that we will share together... It will be a joyful time of discovery in the heart of a small town where nature and industry coexist. This little Béarnese capital of the Aspe, Ossau, Barétous, and Josbaig valleys is a wonderful place to live, at the rhythm of the seasons, songs, and traditions.
Elodie, Gatherer of Beauty and Creator of Softness

Hello! My name is Élodie Labarrère, I am the founder of Verdurette & Cie, nestled on the heights of the Oloron foothills, at the entrance to the Aspe Valley.
It is here, between mountains and valleys, which I chose to cultivate my passion for medicinal and aromatic plants, flowers, and their thousand virtues.
After several years spent in the agricultural world, I felt the desire to return to the essential: working the land, observing nature, and reviving ancient know-how. Thus was born my garden, a vibrant and generous place, where more than sixty varieties of plants grow—thyme, mint, yarrow, chamomile, lavender, elderflower…—all cultivated with respect and love, according to the principles of organic farming.
As the seasons passed, I started by creating herbal teas, aromatic blends, and wild harvests. Then, little by little, the flowers inspired other desires in me: I developed an activity as a creator of objects and jewelry using dried flowers, delicate and poetic pieces that celebrate nature and its simple beauty.
🌸 At Verdurette & Cie, everything is done by hand, from seeding to harvesting, from drying to creation. It’s a small world where nature inspires every gesture… and every smile.
What I will offer you during your stay in the Pyrenees
I am delighted to welcome you to the Ferme de Verdurette, my little piece of paradise where herbs and flowers live to the rhythm of the wind and the seasons. We will begin with a walk in the garden to discover the aromatic, medicinal, and floral plants I cultivate: their scents, their colors, their virtues… I will also tell you how I sow them, nurture them, and transform them into herbal teas or creations. Then, we will move on to floral creation! I will guide you step-by-step to make your own dried flower crown—an object that is simple, elegant, and full of meaning. You will leave with your own creation, to hang, to give as a gift, or to keep as a sweet memory of your stay. 🌾 This is a moment to breathe, share, let your hands speak… and feel all the beauty that nature offers us when we take the time to look at it.
Cédric, Farmer-Shepherd

La Ferme Récébire, a Treasure of the Haut-Béarn Region Nestled in the hills of Issor, in the heart of Haut-Béarn, La Ferme Récébire has been perpetuating a pastoral tradition proudly rooted in the Pyrenees for four generations.
Here, everything is done by hand and with the heart: from raising the sheep, cows, and goats, to milking, through the production and aging of the cheeses, and the transformation of the meat into cured meats and homemade specialties. Annie (the mother), her son Cédric, and his associate Bastien form a close-knit team that blends family heritage with sustainable farming, respecting the animals and the seasons. Their cheese, aged on-site and sold directly at the farm, reflects the mountain, the pastures, and the knowledge of the elders—a taste of authenticity, a taste of this place.
What I will offer you during your stay in the Pyrenees
“Hello everyone! I am Cédric, a farmer-shepherd, and I will have the pleasure of welcoming you to our Ferme Récébire to share a little of our life here, between mountain and tradition.
Together, we will go see the sheep, the goats, and the cows, and discover their temperaments and habits. You will also witness the cheese making process, thanks to a know-how passed down through the family for four generations.
We will also talk about what our profession represents today: living in sync with the seasons, moving to the mountain pastures for 3 months each summer, respecting nature, and making good products with simplicity and passion. And of course, we will finish this visit with a convivial moment around a tasting of our cheeses, accompanied by homemade charcuterie and a glass of Jurançon, the golden wine of Béarn.
I hope this encounter will give you a taste for the mountains, for sharing… and for good cheese!”
Laurie, the chef who cooks the sun

Hello everyone!
My name is Laurie, and ever since I was little, cooking has always been a passion.👩🍳
Coming from a rural background, I was immersed in simple, traditional cooking, the kind my grandmother made, with garden vegetables, chickens she sourced, and preserves… As an adult, my inspirations became stronger through my travels and encounters; they became increasingly colorful, Mediterranean, and plant-based. I am committed to working with quality, local products, respecting the seasons and using short supply chains as much as possible. Even though I still enjoy cooking classic Southwest dishes and perpetuating the family tradition, I like to distinguish myself through this Mediterranean cuisine: rich, warm, and always gourmet!
🌿 I will have the honor of delighting your taste buds throughout the stay with cuisine full of life, warmth, and love.
What I will offer you during your stay in the Pyrenees
Cooking Workshop I will be delighted to meet you for a cooking workshop focused on indulgence, sharing, and good cheer. Together, we will prepare a flavorful and colorful dinner, inspired by Mediterranean cuisine and the products of our beautiful region. I will show you my little tips for enhancing seasonal vegetables, pairing aromatic herbs, and creating plates that are as pretty as they are delicious. No need to be a great chef: the goal is to cook while having fun, discovering new flavors, and enjoying the simple pleasure of preparing a good meal all together. 🍷
So put on your apron, open your senses wide, and let yourself be guided by the scents of the South and the conviviality of a cuisine that is both authentic, joyful, and generous.
