The Brain's Crucial Role in Language Learning

It cannot be emphasized enough that the brain is the main actor in learning. We hear all sorts of theories about the best age to learn a language or preconceived ideas like "I've never been good at languages" (...). The fact is that we of course have predispositions, natural abilities and yes, we learn better when we are children BUT that does not mean that we cannot succeed if we do not fit into this ideal framework! There are techniques, strategies and above all good habits to adopt. Everything is possible when you know some of this essential information.
I am therefore going to publish a series of tips informed by studies and my own experience as a teacher of French as a Foreign Language.
